El­len­brook ce­ments fourth on lad­der af­ter strong win

EL­LEN­BROOK thirds man­aged a con­vinc­ing 45-point win over Wil­let­ton to move up to fourth on the lad­der.

Coach Jeremy Thorn said the team was play­ing well.

“The play­ing group has banded to­gether over the past few weeks and this is show­ing with pos­i­tive re­sults,” he said.

Thirds play sec­ond-placed No­randa this week, which will test player depth.

Colts also man­aged a scrappy 22-point win over Kwinana to lock in fourth place on the lad­der.

Colts this week are up against top-of-the-lad­der Jan­dakot, who are the hunted in the com­pe­ti­tion, with­out a loss so far.

Re­serve and league grades trav­elled to Mos­man Park and both sides faced a tough op­po­nent.

Re­serves con­tin­ued their win­ning form with a four-point win, but league lost a five-goal three­quar­ter time lead to lose by two points.

The league squad held on to third place on the lad­der as the team trav­els to face an im­prov­ing Bel­mont Districts this week.
