Next Sun­day De­cem­ber 4th, 9.30 am12.30pm, the Long­wood Ac­tion Group is hold­ing a work­ing bee. Please meet at the BBQ area at the Pub Pad­dock. Bring along any gar­den­ing tools. Utes and trail­ers would also be handy. A sausage in bread will fol­low back at the BBQ. This will be a reg­u­lar work­ing bee which will be held on the first Sun­day of every sea­son. Ev­ery­one is wel­come.

The Ac­tion Group met last Wed­nes­day, but with­out enough mem­bers present for a quo­rum, the only dis­cus­sion held was re­gard­ing the work­ing bee, and the next meet­ing will not take place un­til next year at a date to be ad­vised.

The Long­wood Pri­mary School Christ­mas Con­cert will be held on Thurs­day, De­cem­ber 8 at the Long­wood Com­mu­nity Cen­tre com­menc­ing at 7pm with stu­dent items, fol­lowed by the draw­ing of our raf­fle, Santa’s visit and con­cludes with sup­per. We ask fam­i­lies to bring along a plate of sup­per to share. Santa’s presents to the value of $10 can be left at the Long­wood Store from Mon­day 30th Novem­ber, clearly named with the re­cip­i­ent. Please let your fam­ily, neigh­bours, friends etc know of this event so that they can come along and join us for this fi­nal get to­gether/ cel­e­bra­tion for 2016.

The Long­wood Pri­mary School are hold­ing a Mega Raf­fle for $1 a ticket! There are some fan­tas­tic prizes on of­fer and this will be drawn at the Long­wood Aus­tralia Day cel­e­bra­tions.

Also– Just a re­minder that our Fam­ily Favourites Cook Book is still avail­able to pur­chase at just $15.00 a book.

The book would make a FAN­TAS­TIC Christ­mas present. Don’t for­get to tell all your friends, neigh­bours etc to pur­chase a copy also.
