On Friday night, the club hosted a thank you evening to our very good sponsors in appreciation of their support of the club.
Without this support, clubs would find it hard to have special days.
Each Saturday and Tuesday sponsor boards, for scoring each game, are at the end of the greens.
So thanks go to these generous businesses for their support as well as on special days such as tournaments.
Treasurer Peter Naughton introduced president Lorraine Walters to those present and welcomed them on behalf of the club.
Everyone enjoyed the savouries and drinks and a chat together.
Several apologies were received from some of the sponsors and members who could not attend.
Many people present were lucky raffle prize winners and they included Judy Jennings, Margaret Watters, Ivy Mackrell and Norma Whitelaw.
Some wonderful bowling was witnessed on Sunday.
The semi-finals and final of the Goulburn Valley section of the ‘ Men’s State Pairs’ were played at Euroa and some very good bowling was witnessed by those fortunate enough to watch them all day.
The first matches in the morning were D Cartright and G Schilling who played Kyabram teammates R Sceney and J Anselm who won this match.
G Franze and Josh Thornton ( East Shepparton) played P Beecroft and R Higgins (Shepparton Park) and the East Shepparton pair own.

The final between D Cartright/ G Schilling and G Franze/J Thornton was a very inspiring match mainly played on long ends and with wonderful draw bowling.
In the end David and Greg were the winners, 17/11 and they now go on to the regional finals.
As well as our own bowling days, Euroa has hosted other Goulburn Valley days over the past couple of weeks.
So we say a big thank you to green keeper Ken Sutcliffe and his many helpers for the excellent greens as well as the ladies in the kitchen for providing food on these days.
