Families enjoy tennis

Euroa Gazette - - SPORTS -

IT was a very pleasant atmosphere at the Euroa Lawn Tennis Courts last Friday evening.

Over 40 junior tennis players and parents enjoyed playing alongside each other.

Some parents were amazed at the improved skill levels of their children and had to step up their game to match the competitive challenges presented to them.

There were some rusty shots witnessed and a few reports of sore muscles over the weekend but it was a popular event, so the club will be holding another family evening in the future at a date to be confirmed.

The tennis ball machine tested the skills of the young players and provided challenges and great entertainment throughout the evening.

A well-prepared barbeque was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone at the conclusion of play, with a special thank you to the barbeque chefs.

Although the weather conditions were a little breezy on Friday, the Euroa Lawn courts provided the perfect setting for an enjoyable family gathering.
