ON a glo­ri­ous sunny day at the Friendlies Oval, Euroa re­sumed at 1/27 chas­ing a to­tal of 95 runs to claim vic­tory.

Bat­ters, Nic Hill and James Her­ring opened the day but un­for­tu­nately a crack­ing hit from James saw him caught out in the first over.

The two Nics, in Burke and Hill, oc­cu­pied the crease be­fore a fast ball saw Nic Hill cleaned bowled, bring­ing Nic McCabe to part­ner Nic Burke.

They bat­ted on un­til Nic McCabe was caught be­hind on four.

At drinks Euroa were four for 85, im­pres­sive bat­ting by Nic Burke saw him at 31 and Ge­or­gia on two.

Shortly af­ter drinks, Euroa passed the score of 94 be­fore Nic Burke was out on 36, just four runs shy of the 40 runs re­quired for his re­tire­ment.

His quick run­ning and su­perb shots to the bound­ary en­sured a vic­tory for Euroa.

Luke Davies and Ge­or­gia Gall bat­tled well to­gether.

Ge­or­gia played an ex­cel­lent in­nings fin­ish­ing on 28 be­fore be­ing run-out.
