Go to 16 year old Ven­turer Peter Le­jins for­mer Nagam­bie Scout was ac­knowl­edged on achiev­ing his Queen’s Scout award on 26 Novem­ber from the Dis­trict Com­mis­sioner and other scout­ing dig­ni­taries, fel­low Ven­tur­ers, fam­ily and friends.

Congratulations go to Nagam­bie’s Joe Kosky on be­ing cho­sen to take over the role of Don in “Kinky Boots” in Mel­bourne at her Majesty’s Theatre. He was the un­der­study since it opened but made his de­but as the char­ac­ter re­cently. Well done Joe.

Congratulations also go to David Dou­glas of Nagam­bie Pri­mary School who placed third in the Na­tional Pri­mary School Cham­pi­onships in Syd­ney in the 11 year old high jump event.

David is now qual­i­fied to at­tend the Pa­cific Games in Ade­laide next year, where over 4000 stu­dents from 15 coun­tries will com­pete in 10 sports.

Nagam­bie Pri­mary School, his fam­ily and friends are very proud of his achieve­ment.
