‘Sheep to Sheets’

Euroa Gazette - - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR -

HELLO my name is Charli and I am nine years old.

Not long ago my mum, dad and I went on holiday to Sydney and while we were there we went to the Paddington Market and we saw people sleeping on the streets.

I didn’t like seeing this and it made me feel sad.

Now I have decided that I want to raise money to help buy some of these people backpack beds so they can sleep more comfortable by selling bags of sheep poo fertiliser and straw with horse poo mulch in bags.

I can also deliver tray loads of poo so long as you don’t live too far away.

Please help me raise as much money as I can to give these people some comfort.

I am aiming for $500 which will give me 4 backpack beds. I am calling this project “Sheep to Sheets”. Thank you for helping me. Charli Hill Now a few words from mum... Thanks for taking the time to read this. Charli is very passionate about this cause and has been lucky enough to have the support of a business called Backpack Beds For the Homeless.

They work in partnership with 450+ homeless agencies across Australia to reach homeless people who do not have any other form of accommodation.

The Backpack Bed is study proven to improve health, dignity, sleep, warmth, comfort and safety.

She will be selling bags of sheep poo, amazing natural fertiliser, for $4 a bag and bags of straw with horse poo mulch for $5 a bag (limited bags of mulch available).

We will also deliver the poo by the ute tray load if requested and the it is not too far away for $50-$100 (roughly 10-20 bags) depending on the amount you require.

Bags are available to collect from our front gate at 30 Palmers Rd, Strathbogie.

We will also deliver to Mansfield, Euroa and Benalla if we get enough orders.

Please email Charli at kkjnr@hotmail.com with the subject SHEEP TO SHEETS for more information or to place and order.

Again, thank you for supporting Charli in this cause and stay tuned for photos and a running tally of how she is going.

Katie Hill (Charli’s Mum), Strathbogie
