Lots of yummy goods to fill up your pantry

Euroa Gazette - - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR -

THE fourth Sunday of each month now sees a fantastic new activity on offer for locals and visitors to Nagambie; and it’s right in the heart of town.

In its first few months of operation the new Nagambie Farmers’ Market did not disappoint. The beautiful large shady trees and luscious grass in the centre of town on High Street have created a wonderful atmosphere to host this VFMA accredited farmers’ market.

There is an outstanding variety of local produce from growers and farmers from the local area and also from just a little further north or south.

Enjoy the abundance of summer and treat yourself and your family and friends to the freshest of fruit, vegetables, wonderful meat, fish and poultry plus local olive oil, bread from freshly milled flour, preserves, cordials and the best collection of local small wineries you can find.

The market boasts some true gems in high quality, small boutique wines.

In January there will also be local beer and cider on offer.

Bring an empty cold Esky and fill it with the best produce you can find in this region.

It’s just before Australia Day and will ensure your summer barbecues and lazy day picnics are filled with deliciousness. It also offers live music and kids’ activities. Most importantly the market will provide an opportunity to source local, fresh food from the people who grew it, reared it or made it.
