Families enjoy carols in park
EUROA’S Carols by Candlelight brought Christmas cheer to the community, with a good crowd getting along to the Seven Creeks park market area for a night of sing-alongs and celebrations.
The night was hosted by Gayle Mawson, who performed several numbers alongside Anita Pavone and Marg Chowanetz.
The Euroa citizens band and choir group ‘Strathbogie Singers’ took to the stage and had the crowd singing along with them.
A visit from Santa was as popular as ever, with the large gathering of kids surrounding him in the hope of an early treat from the big man in red.
There were a few who were a little disenchanted by the change of location for the carols, with the uneven ground and a number of trees obscuring views of the stage and making sitting down to watch a little uncomfortable.
However, there was overwhelming positivity regarding the performers who gave their all to make it a great night out enjoying the warm December weather.
