Tabilk improves as finals loom

Euroa Gazette - - SPORTS -

team fought back hard with two goals of their own, and they went into the last quarter one point behind.

It wasn’t looking great with three quick goals early in the last quarter to St Mary’s but again the team came back with two goals.

But when the siren sounded St Mary’s had won the game by nine points.

Will Ledeux was a solid contributor as was Somaiya Harriden competing well in the ruck.

Tom Mason was lively again in the forward line and Harry Shiner provided plenty of presence in the backline.

Captain Angus Murray was again dominant and must have run half a marathon on the day.

It was catch me if you can and Angus was clearly best on ground.

Kane Chapman worked hard all day and was a solid contributor as was Finbar O’Sullivan who also had a stint on the ball.

Blake Ezard was again consistent on his wing.

He again gave his best at every contest and won plenty of the footy, which was by far the best performance of the season.

It is great to see the team continue to improve each week and their confidence and belief rises with every game.

There are some great pictures of the kids again from Renate Abra - check them out on Facebook.
