Book Week parade at St John’s

Euroa Gazette - - NEWS -

BOOK Week 2017 was celebrated enthusiastically at St John’s last week, culminating in an extraordinary parade in the school’s multi purpose Mercy Centre.

With this year’s Book Week theme “Escape to Everywhere” being such a broad concept, the students and their families allowed their imaginations to run wild, preparing costumes that were extravagant, creative and very clever.

After the parade, the students split into the three house groups and moved around to a variety of different activities designed to further promote a love of literature, reading and books.

At the end of the day there were 200 tired, but extremely happy students who will remember the events of Book Week 2017 for a very long time to come.
