Donation will help junior cricket players shine
THE Euroa Cricket Club has received an important incentive boost for its under 12, 14 and 16 sides thanks to a donation of $600 from the Australian National Show and Shine committee.
This financial incentive to increase or hold membership of this grassroots club will ease the burden of fees for these local kids whose interest in sport is critical to their advancement over the coming years.
The donation includes an amount of $200 to allow for the purchase of cricket gear which may assist new members, or help to kit out the team.
This is just one of several local projects that will be funded from the profits of the Show and Shine’s successful event last year.
