getting back up in the third.

With such tough opposition going into the fourth it was goal for goal and our girls put everything they had in to the game with us coming away with the win by two.

Congratulations we deserve to be in the finals, big week ahead getting ready to face Murchison next week. Best on Court went to Hannah Sharp.

Violet Town 35 This week’s game was a tough one with having only the bare minimum players.

From the first whistle Violet Town B graders fought extremely hard for every loose ball, every intercept and every rebound.

The last quarter was the hardest as VT had no bench, no fresh legs and Nagambie having a squad of 12 to refresh.

Despite how tired the girls where they pushed harder than ever before but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to secure the win to make it further in the finals, going down by only one goal.

The end score definitely didn’t reflect how amazing the girls played as a team. It’s been a fantastic year for Violet Town B grade girls and we’re looking forward to a new season after a well-deserved break.

Congratulations and good luck to all VT teams playing in finals in the coming weeks... don’t forget to come along and support our teams! Finals this weekend: Under 17 Netball vs Nagam- bie at Stanhope, Saturday, September 9.

Senior Football vs Nagambie at Stanhope, September 9.

Good luck to all our teams, Thursday Night Dinners continue with roast lamb for dinner this week and multiple Joker Poker draws.
