Magpies off to the big dance
Further, the club would like to acknowledge the excellent support it received on Sunday in hosting the GVL semifinal clashes in four grades of netball and three grades of football.
The committee were excellent in their organisation as were all the volunteers who turned up for their rostered time slot.
A wonderful sign of a very healthy club indeed – go Pies.
Birchy’s bonus: As many are well aware, one of the club’s previous players – Thomas Birch – was recently a victim of a coward punch when out for a social evening recently in South Australia.
Thomas and his family have been a part of our club for a number of years and as such the football/netball community dug deep on Sunday to help raise some funds to assist with supporting Thomas’ recovery.
EFNC would like to acknowledge the magnificent support offered by all those at the game on Sunday, many who are involved in football/netball clubs often competing against Euroa but on this occasion they were right alongside Euroa in their support.
The winner of the TV (donated by DPR Insurance, Euroa) was Broderick Floyd with the runner up prize of a Webber-style barbecue (donated by Burtons IGA Euroa) being Kid Currie.
Thanks to all who bought tickets in this one.
Magpie Magic Memberships: The 12th winner of the current 50 weeks of draws happened last week at the club with Senior Football Syndicate (number 9) taking out the $500 cash, again.
