AN af­ter­noon of bowls was en- joyed by 25 play­ers on Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 27.

The win­ners were John Groat (s), Pauline Nay­lor and Graeme Goode and play will be on again to­day, (Oc­to­ber 4) at 1pm.

This Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 8, the trip to Bright will take place and the bus will leave the club­house at 9.30am.

The cost will be $20 and the club uni­form to be worn.

Th­ese matches be­tween Bright and Euroa have been tak­ing place on and off for a num­ber of years since 1899.

On Sat­ur­day, Oc­to­ber 14, the pen­nant prac­tice match be­tween Avenel, Nagambie, Vi­o­let Town and Euroa will take place at Euroa, start­ing at 1pm.

Good luck to all pen­nant play­ers for the sea­son.

The Kevin Lomer Me­mo­rial mixed fours will be played on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 15 at 1pm.

Names to be placed on the board in the club­house and all to wear uni­form.
