A Quiet Ob­ses­sion screen­ing man­ages to raise $1500

This film pro­vided ex­ten­sive dis­cus­sion amongst those who at­tended, with opin­ions quite di­verse.

The unit would like to thank the many lo­cals who at­tended this film and all present would have been im­pressed with the amaz­ing af­ter­noon tea.

New mem­bers are al­ways wel­come both at unit meet­ings and with the lo­cal emer­gency team.

At the last meet­ing, the unit wel­comed two new mem­bers, Joan and Colleen.

To fur­ther ex­tend the unit’s net­work into the com­mu­nity, the Oc­to­ber meet­ing (on Oc­to­ber 5) was des­ig­nated as a ‘bring a friend’ meet­ing.

If you would like to be a part of this very ac­tive group, the meet­ings are al­ways held on the first Thurs­day of the month in the old SES build­ing.

The ses­sion com­mences at 10am with a ‘cuppa’ and a meet­ing will fol­low.

The re­main­der of the year looks to be busy with at zone meet­ing at Beech­worth on Oc­to­ber 11, the sale of Christ­mas Cake raf­fle tick­ets on Novem­ber 23, 24 and De­cem­ber 8 and the Christ­mas lun­cheon in De­cem­ber.
