Euroa Show and Shine is best value anywhere

Euroa Gazette - - NEWS -

THE Australian National Show and Shine is on this Sunday, October 7, located in the pristine Seven Creeks area of Euroa Victoria.

Now acknowledged as one of the top Show and Shine events in Australia it is now also the best value-for-money family entertainment for motoring enthusiasts.

It is indeed much more than a motor show!

Event director Ross Holt said that the committee had concentrated on obtaining new major attractions for the show this year, whilst keeping the admission price as low as possible.

“Our event has now reached the stage where the majority of our exhibitors return every year, many of them with different vehicles that they have lovingly prepared,” Mr Holt said.

“This means that the grass roots of our show are now selfsufficient.

“Meanwhile, we will have a collection of both new and old Jaguars at the Darryl Twitt Motors stand together with a 2018 Ford Mustang GT.”

The show will also feature a rare 1923 Aston Martin racer, as well as an actual James Bond Vantage and current model Astons as well.

The Teslas will are also back in strength.

“A great feature will be a scavenger hunt with a difference,” Mr Holt said.

“Participants will be able to win a Jaguar to drive around in for a weekend.”

The Chev Corvettes will be there in force with more than thirty cars.

Local cars will be joined by vehicles from Sydney, South Australia and Melbourne.

Something new with motor cycles will be the featured inclusion of a Dirt Bikes category for the first time.

The ever-popular speedway stand has this year doubled in size, with current and vintage speedway cars side by side, plus the addition of some very unusual special interest race cars.

Recently, the focus for Euroa Show and Shine participants has been to ensure that the event is established as a family-friendly environment by way of including new and innovative attractions for everybody, including the kids.

Such features as free rides on the Euroa mini railway, horse and carriage rides, two jumping castles and a petting zoo ensure that no-body of any age gets bored PHOTOS: Auto-Motive Photography. with looking at a magnificent array of cars.

Food and drink stalls, trade stalls, a period costume Fashions on the Field competition, and entertainment from our Master of Ceremonies “Whiskas” and band “What’s Next” will ensure than things roll (and rock) right along.

With all of this, entry prices for spectators are still surprisingly low, with adults just $5 per person and kids under 16 free, making this just about the best value for money available for a whole day’s entertainment for motoring enthusiasts.

Show cars entry is $10 including driver, and motor cycles $5 including rider.
