Euroa Gazette - - NEWS -

FOR the past few months Reverend Paul Dalzell has performed services, conducted funerals, and held hostel services as Locum for the Anglican Parish of Central Goulburn, which consists of St Paul’s Avenel, St John’s Nagambie and Christ Church Seymour.

Except when he flew off to Switzerland for a holiday.

The parish held a 5th Sunday service at St Paul’s in Avenel recently, then a bring and share lunch in the renovated Memorial Hall supper room.

Reverend Paul’s wife Robyn, and his faithful dog Gracie, joined the parishioners for the service and delicious lunch.

Pride of place after lunch was a decorated cake to say thank you to Rev Paul. It was made by Anne Foote for the occasion.

Rector’s Warden Peter Darbyshire made a short speech thanking Rev Paul for his ministry among the parish centres and presented Rev Paul with a basket of goodies and Robyn with a bouquet of flowers.
