Albert Park is one of the toughest circuits on brakes on the F1 calendar. On average at the Melbourne track, an F1 car reaches 238 kWh – which is more than the energy dissipated on the Suzuka and Silverstone circuits combined.
During the AGP each driver applies the brake pedal more than 500 times. This equates to a total pedal load in excess of 64 tonnes.
