The Dieci Agri Plus 40.7 is one of a wide range of built-for-purpose ag-spec telehandlers
Dieci’s range of agriculture telehandlers are designed for a wide range of jobs
Dieci’s range of specialised agriculture telehandlers are designed to suit a wide variety of big or small on-farm applications, from poultry farms to cattle stations.
With a range that includes the new three-tonne Poultry Pro Series 7 and the easy-to-handle Agri Plus 40.7, each Italian-made Dieci telehandler is made to be tough, reliable and comfortable.
The telehandlers are designed for operator comfort and safety, and are built to tackle a wide range of Australian work environments, according to local distributor AWD Group.
Added to this is the fact that AWD Group designs and manufactures a wide range of purpose-built agricultural attachments including hay forks, cotton grabs, buckets, baskets, pipe clamps and grabs, jibs and hooks, winches and rotators.
Put them together and you’re covered for applications from poultry farms to piggeries, wheat farms, cattle stations, cotton farms and sugar plantations.
AGRI PLUS 40.7
One of Dieci’s most popular models is the Agri Plus 40.7 telehandler, which has two transmissions to choose from.
The first is the Vario System Evo 2, which enables you to choose between four work modes to find the best speed-to-power ratio under any operating conditions.
The alternative is the PowerShift, which gives you the option of either a manual or automatic gearbox with six forward gears and three reverse gears, along with an inching pedal to ensure maximum power at all operating levels.
The hydrostatic transmission, combined with the right work mode, allows precise manoeuvers to be made easily and can help improve stacking performance, AWD says. Dieci’s Generation 3 Space Cab features a roomy interior with ergonomic air seats and powerful air-conditioning.
A large door enables easier and safer access for the operator, while the inside of the cab has been designed with soundproofing, adjustable steering wheel height and depth, electric windows, storage compartments and stereo.
Standard on all models is a four-in-one joystick with a capacitive dead-man sensor and a seat sensor to prevent accidental manoeuvres. A unique oscillation system increases the operation angle, making it easier to unload the bucket with the boom raised.
The Agri Plus 40.7 telehandler also comes with an optional pneumatic suspension system on the boom, which reduces the vibrations felt when driving on irregular and uneven surfaces.
AWD says the steering system is highly efficient and the turning radius is the narrowest in its category.
All Dieci machines are fitted with a load-limiting device that analyses the stability of the telehandler and automatically stops all compromising movements if the pre-set limit is reached.
POULTRY PRO 30.7 SERIES VII
Another jewel in the Dieci crown is the Poultry Pro 30.7 Series VII telehandler, which, after years of continuous development and experience, has been built specifically for use in the Australian poultry handling industry.
This latest version of the Poultry Pro has a Kubota commonrail turbo diesel engine, with most of its power in the lower rev range. This means it runs cooler, which Dieci says is perfect for working in hot poultry sheds and for the grunt work it has to do cleaning the sheds.
The two-metre by two-metre telehandler also fits into the threetonne, seven-metre reach category which is popular in small-tomedium farm applications.
The rollover boom head at the end of the boom rotates to 147 degrees, allowing for more efficiency when emptying the bucket. It has a 35km/h maximum speed and blue LED lights that are designed to avoid startling poultry, along with a locally designed and engineered air-conditioning unit with a special filtration system that has been built to the specifications of the poultry industry.
Features that come as standard on the Poultry Pro 30.7 include an engine temperature monitoring system with shutdown protection, reverse radiator fan and improved airflow to keep the engine bay clean. The Poultry Pro has a hydrostatic transmission and also comes with the Generation 3 Space Cab as standard. The Agri Plus 40.7 telehandler and the Poultry Pro 30.7 telehandler can be purchased from the AWD Group, which has worked closely with its customers for years to develop equipment for Australia’s diverse agricultural sector.
AWD Group designs and manufactures a wide range of purpose-built agricultural attachments including hay forks, cotton grabs, buckets, baskets, pipe clamps and grabs, jibs and hooks, winches and rotators.
