Indian machinery giant Mahindra has launched its new 60hp 6060 2WD and 4WD utility tractors in Australia.
The new Mahindra 6060 tractor features a 3533cc 4-cylinder water-cooled direct-injection diesel engine, which it says is perfect for medium-sized properties that have value and productivity on their mind.
Available from 45 dealerships Australia wide, the Mahindra 6060 4WD weighs in at just under three tonnes at 2850kg, while the 2WD model weighs 2530kg.
The 6060’s features include a 51hp PTO, single-lever PTO engagement with 540 and 540 Economy settings, a flat platform with comfortable suspension seats, and two auxiliary remotes as standard.
The 4WD model also features a 15 x 15 synchro shuttle transmission, while the 2WD 6060 has a 15 x 3 mechanical side shift. Both have 2200kg lift on the ball-end linkage and a standard roll-over protective (ROPS) canopy structure. The 6060 tractor range is available from $24,990 (2WD).
Mahindra is also set to release the new ML series loaders.
The ML6002/6004 loaders feature a rugged mainframe with a durable boom structure mounted rigidly across the chassis. The quick-hitch design makes for easier and quicker switching between buckets, pallet forks and bale spikes, while a self-level design maintains the bucket in the horizontal position just by operating the boom, Mahindra says.
The ML6002/6004 loader will be available from this month.
