Celli and Farmgard announce distributorship agreement
Farmgard has been announced as the exclusive Australian distributor of Celli agricultural equipment.
Farmgard managing director Mark Capper says the company is a thirdgeneration business which has had a presence in the local market since 2007.
“Farmgard has been distributing Celli equipment throughout New Zealand for over 30 years and we are looking forward to bringing that experience to Australia along with meeting the new challenges the Australian market will provide,” Capper says.
“To support the ongoing growth of our Australian business unit, in early 2017 we opened a dedicated assembly, parts and distribution centre in Melbourne, Victoria. This centre will futureproof our expansion plans to provide an efficient and effective way to support our rapidly growing customer base.”
Celli has been manufacturing tillage equipment since 1955 and now exports to 30 countries worldwide.
The Italian company makes rotary hoes and power harrows from 1m to 6m (20hp-450hp), seeders up to 4m wide, bedformers and stone buriers from
.95m to 7m, heavy duty rippers and subsoilers, spading machines and a comprehensive range of fixed, offset and folding mulchers.
As well as the full range of Celli equipment, Farmgard also currently represents Abbey feed mixers, slurry tankers and manure spreader, RZ rippers and discs, Farmgard grader blades and Stanhay precision seeders.
