There’s a new T194 subcompact tractor from TYM
TYM has launched its new T194 sub-compact tractor, which the brand says is perfect for hobby farmers looking to upgrade their ride-on mowers.
Inlon sales and marketing manager Gary Surman says TYM has seen demand for a tractor like the new T194.
“TYM has recognised the demand for a high-spec sub-compact tractor with the horsepower and flexibility to handle a wide range of implements and tasks, including moving soil, digging holes and general landscaping,” he says.
“With the heavy build and quality, backed by a three-year warranty plan, the tractor weighs an impressive 650kg excluding attachments,” Surman says.
“Most of its weight comes from the cast-iron components rather than die-cast aluminium, delivering weight to the transmission and driveline where you need it most.”
Unlike a ride-on mower, the T194 tractor features a rollover protective structure (ROPS), which TYM says will fold away for space saving when in storage or for safety while working under trees or similar conditions.
The company says feedback from customers indicates they are enjoying the performance of the T194’s 19hp Japanese Yanmar 993cc diesel engine.
The lower revs of this engine are said to enhance driver comfort, while the compact tractor’s hydrostatic transmission offers simple variable forward and reverse drive via a set of independent pedals.
The tractor is available with industrial or turf tyres, while other options include a front-end level-lift loader with a large 4-in-1 bucket that is quick and simple to detach. An optional mid-mounted mower cutting deck is fitted with three blades to produce a smooth, even lawn finish.
There are fully independent rear and mid PTOs rated at
540rpm and 2000rpm respectively. They can be operated either independently or simultaneously via an electro-hydraulic clutch. The rear linkage is Category 1 with a large lift capacity of 499kg (at ball ends).
The tractor has a safety feature that requires the driver to be seated, the brake pedal depressed and the PTO switched off when starting the engine.
The TYM T194 is priced from $13,998 and is available for purchase from TYM tractors exclusive distributor Inlon.
