Royal Launce­s­ton Show

WHAT: Since 1873, the Royal Na­tional Agri­cul­tural and Pas­toral So­ci­ety of Tas­ma­nia Lim­ited (RNAPS) has held an agri­cul­tural show in Launce­s­ton. Since 1984, that event has been called The Royal Launce­s­ton Show, fol­low­ing the grant­ing of a Royal de­cree. This year’s Royal Launce­s­ton Show will take place Thurs­day be­fore the sec­ond Satur­day in Oc­to­ber.

Wandin Sil­van Field Days

WHAT: Wandin Sil­van Field Days’ fo­cus is show­cas­ing hor­ti­cul­tural and agri­cul­tural pro­duc­ers and their prod­ucts and ser­vices. This en­ables vis­i­tors to have di­rect con­tact with the lo­cal grow­ers and pro­duc­ers of this re­gion.

Royal Gee­long Show

WHAT: Founded in 1855, the Royal Gee­long Agri­cul­tural & Pas­toral So­ci­ety is a not-for­profit or­gan­i­sa­tion sup­ported by a vol­un­teer com­mu­nity base of 63 coun­cil­lors and over 100 co-opted mem­bers.

Flin­ders Is­land Show

WHAT: The Flin­ders Is­land Show is a tra­di­tional agri­cul­tural and pas­toral show, re­flect­ing the Is­land’s tra­di­tional ru­ral her­itage. The show in­cludes sheep, cat­tle and wool dis­plays com­pet­ing for best of show awards and vis­i­tors can watch the sport­ing events, in­clud­ing eques­trian and wood chop­ping com­pe­ti­tions.

Aus­tralian Na­tional Field Days 2018

WHAT: More than 600 ex­hibitors travel to the Borenore site (15km west of Orange, NSW) from all over Aus­tralia and in­ter­na­tion­ally to dis­play their prod­ucts and ser­vices dur­ing the three-day event.

WHEN: Oc­to­ber 25–27


GFIA Aus­tralia Con­fer­ence & Ex­hi­bi­tion

WHAT: Host­ing two ad­ja­cent ex­hi­bi­tions – one pre­sent­ing so­lu­tions in con­trolled en­vi­ron­ments and pro­tected crop­ping; and an­other show­cas­ing prod­ucts for the pre­ci­sion agri­cul­ture and smart farm­ing sec­tor, and a high-level con­fer­ence pro­gram, GFIA in Fo­cus will present the lat­est in­no­va­tions and tech­nolo­gies for smart food pro­duc­tion to 2,000 food pro­duc­ers, pol­icy mak­ers, sci­en­tists and in­vestors.

EIMA In­ter­na­tional Agri­cul­tural and Gar­den­ing Ma­chin­ery Ex­hi­bi­tion

WHAT: EIMA is held in Bologna Trade Fair quar­ters on an ex­hi­bi­tion area of 375,000 square me­tres, and hosts some 1,900 com­pa­nies from 40 coun­tries ex­hibit­ing more than 50,000 mod­els of ma­chin­ery and equip­ment for all types of agri­cul­tural op­er­a­tions or green work, for ev­ery model of en­ter­prise.
