There’s no doubt a hot lap feels in­cred­i­bly fast on board the Ninja once in the zone, ac­com­pa­nied by the Mo­toGP elec­tronic-as­sisted sound­track. But the slower sec­tions on cir­cuit re­ally pun­ished the slow­ish steer­ing.

It doesn’t dance on its wheels like the Euro­pean bikes, though rid­den in iso­la­tion you’ll barely no­tice once you’re used to her. And say­ing that, there’s grip aplenty and the Kawasaki never threat­ened to spit out its dummy at ei­ther end.

So long as you’re in the go-zone, cor­ner ex­its are where the Ten re­ally pun­ishes the rest, but you must smash the throt­tle bod­ies hard to ex­tract the best from the ZX-10R.
