No matter how good/fast/safe you think you are, there’s always something new to learn from the pros. We’re lucky enough to have plenty of track tuition options in the UK, each offering something completely different. Here’s our pick of the bunch.

Fast Bikes - - TRACK SCHOOLS -

GP legend and father of Leon, Ron Haslam can still pedal a bike around a circuit. His school takes place at Donington Park and utilises brand-new Honda Fireblade SPs and CBR600RRs, dependant on which tier of instruction. ‘Premier’ is the entry-level, half-day experience that usually sees several pupils share an instructor, mixing classroom tutorials and debriefs with plenty of track time on CBR600RRs. ‘Elite’ experience is one-to-one instruction that includes luxuries such as datalogging and onboard analysis, all using 2017 SPs.

The beauty of Ron’s school is its free-flowing curriculum and tuition tailored to your riding, rather than following a set format. Whatever needs working on, Ron, Leon or any other of the school’s array of racing instructors will no doubt do so. And you can grab a lap as pillion to Ron – if you’re man enough.

Did you know: Your nippers can have a spin too. From as young as 12 years old, kids can learn the basics on CBR125s, CBR300Rs and CBR500Rs for £199. Price: from £299 Web: www.haslam

The Haslam School caters for all sizes of bikes, plus all ages and skill levels of riders.

Ron may fly past you, too!
