Fast Bikes - - TEST -

The 140bhp, 1,043cc, ZX-10R-derived inline four is fairly conventional in design, though the electronics helping to control it are pretty advanced. Fuel is fed through 38mm throttle bodiesbodies, with oval sub-subthrottles,throttles controlled by a RBW system. Full and Low power modes assist control. Low mode reduces bhp by 20-25% and slows throttle response. Dual Throttle Valves smooth power delivery. One set controlled by the twistgrip the other by the ECU. A fuel economy light is in evidence. A slipper clutch helps corner entry. The KIBS braking system links ABS and engine ECUs. Sensors measuring brake pressure, throttle position, engine rpm, clutch pressure and gear position reduce the chance of large drops in brake pressure as well as rear wheel lift. The front and rear brakes are linked. The Horizontal Back-link rear shock has no linkage allowing space to mount the exhaust’s huge mid-silencer. Six-axis IMU helps manage the cornering ABS and three-level traction control systems more accurately. Dry weight is 215kg.
