'THE FEEDER'

You wouldn’t put diesel or sh*t fuel in your race bike, so why put sh*t food in your body? That’s the way I look at it. I used to race bikes (pretty poorly albeit) before I went full time with the nutrition and coaching work, which means I know exactly what these boys go up against. One of the biggest problems I face with riders is actually a lack of eating during a race weekend – how many of you guys skip breakfast because you’re feeling a little nervous? Exactly. With my athletes (riders) I go into great detail running a host of tests to establish intoleranc­es, metabolic typing, body compositio­n, and just about everything else I can use to map out the optimum nutrition programme for each person. I run packages for riders providing nutrition plans and supplement­ation to ensure they’re performing at the best of their ability; such as the Podium Juice (a pre-race solution to boost the rider with over 20 ingredient­s – like in the film Limitless!) and then a recovery drink after to prevent them from crashing... mentally and physically. Your bike can’t run to its full potential on sh*t fuel, and neither can you. Think about that before you head out on track next time!
