2009 – 125cc Grand Prix: Racing for WTR San Marino Team Johann finished 15th in his fififirst ever GP and had a 6th place finish at Mugello, Italy.

2010 – 125cc Grand Prix: Remaining with WTR Johann set the fastest lap at the Czech Grand Prix and finished the championsh­ip in 11th place.

2011 – 125cc Grand Prix: Signed to race with Ajo Motorsport and scored his first podium finish with 3rd at the Spanish Grand Prix. 2012 – Moto 2World Championsh­ip: Moving up to the Moto 2 class with the JiR team, he finished the championsh­ip in 10th as the highest placed rookie that season. 2013 – Moto 2World Championsh­ip: Johann had two podium finishes racing a Suter for Ioda Project Racing Team,

fififinish­ing the championsh­ip in 9th. 2014 – Moto 2World Championsh­ip: Riding for the new Caterham Moto Racing Team scoring four podiums, finishing 6th overall in the championsh­ip. 2015 – Moto2 World Championsh­ip: Teaming back up with Ajo Motorsport, Johann dominated the Moto 2 class, winning eight races and scoring a record points haul of 352. 2016 – Moto2 World Championsh­ip: Johann remained with Ajo Motorsport to successful­ly defend his Moto 2 crown with seven wins and ten podiums.

2017 – Moto GP: 2017 saw Zarco move up the premier class with Tech3 Yamaha where he impressed by leading the first race of the season at Qatar, finishing on the podium twice, and ending the season as the top rookie.
