Fast Bikes - - TRIED OUT -

I’ve had this Muc-off Optix handy pack for as long as I’ve been riding, so I feel quite attached to it nowadays. While official guidance suggests cleaning your bike helmet with a wet cloth and warm non-soapy water, I find this spray bottle does the job just as well and often quicker – even if there’s a stubborn fly clinging on to the visor with all its mini might. Helmet manufacturers aren’t massive fans of cleaning products, stating the chemicals in them make visors brittle or remove protective lens coatings but Muc-Off use a de-ionised, biodegradable water solution that contains no solvents or harmful chemicals and apart from once rubbing a Matt White helmet a bit too hard, causing the design to smudge, I’ve never had any issues with this stuff (please, no jokes about rubbing my helmet too hard). Whatever your opinion on cleaning practise, this handy case version (which has now been updated into a draw string bag) and its big brother spray bottle are great additions to any riding kit.
