Wear loads of jewellery
If you want to walk around looking like some sort of 1980s darts player, that’s fine, there’s nothing wrong with that, each to their own. That said, be mindful of sparkly enhancements like rings, bracelets and watches. It’s all too easy to scratch your paint while you work. The same can be said for those talons, ladies. Massive fake nails may look well sexy, but they’re not exactly the best for detailing purposes.
Also, think about what else you’re wearing. Obviously the softer your garb, the less chance you have of inflicting any surface damage when brushing up against the car. Besides, it’s not a bloody fashion parade, so steer clear of big belts and jeans, or combat trousers, jackets and hoodies with loads of zips and buttons.
