Midge’s verdict:

Fast Car - - Lifestyle -

Auto Finesse tentatively call this an ‘emergency kit’ and design it so you never get caught short while on the road. While that’s certainly handy for when you rock up at that impromptu meet, I still think this kit is far more useful. For me this one makes even more sense for bigger events and, well, just about any time you need a spot of maintenance away from home.

I like the fact it contains everything you need in a super-compact package. What I like even more is that it’s not a one-shot deal. All these products are quick, effective and easy to use. They’re also some of the most concentrated formulas available from any manufacturer. A little of all of these goes a long way and, even when they do run out, you can simply refill from your favourite full-size product.

Most of all though, I’m surprised there aren’t more of these kits on the market. For the most part, full on detailing is something you do at home over many, many hours. So why would you ever carry 14 tons of kit when you can simply slap one of these in the glove box? You might as well save yourself the extra petrol. In a nutshell: why wouldn’t you buy one?
