TOM’S ‘67 VOLVO AMAZON COUPE
Name: Tom Clarke
Job Role: Senior Marketer, Meguiar’s UK
It’s been another mega month of custom work on the Amazon. The Install Company have now fully designed and fabricated the front subframe to allow for maximum lows using Air Lift components supplied by Car Audio Security. The work involved in getting this done is simply ridiculous, but that’s why I’ve used The Install Company. I knew they’d go the extra mile to get that extra mm of rolling drop.
While all this was happening, I was working with TT Tools to get the rear wheels redrilled to match the new 5x108 pcd; we’ve also decided to take some meat out of the rears to aid with that all important fitment. Considering the work that’s involved to get this car to how I want it, I couldn’t be more pleased with the progress we are making and that’s down to people involved in the project. There’s obviously still a ton of work to be carried out before it’s ready; in fact, we are waiting on some laser cut goodies to be delivered so we can get to work on the rear suspension set-up. You never know, it could be ready to roll by the time the country is…
Tucking hell, or should we say heaven?
