KEITH FLYNN 2009 FOCUS RS
When your living is made by detailing cars, you’d expect Keith Flynn to have the shiniest car out there! In total contradiction, then, his Focus is wrapped in a satin finish, which means he can concentrate on making other people’s cars as awesome as he does. But, there’s quite a few hidden touches if you look closer. Note the graphics in the side of the bonnet, reflecting exactly what Keith does…
And there’s a problem with detailing cars: “You see that many, you want them all,” Keith laughs. Which is why he’s gone through something like 230 cars in his ownership! “I get bored really easily, and I want the car I’m working on at the time.” Although, he’s owned this RS for 18-months now; which is a long time for Keith.
This was actually one of the first Focus’ in the country, it’s build number 115 and now has a host of modifications done to it. There’s more to come yet, too. “The Eibachs have made a massive difference, it handles better and feels much tighter in corners. But the next step is to polybush it. Plus fit some stereo upgrades, which I really miss. My last car had two big 12in subs in the boot, so that’s next!”
