Back to Pinegrove
After successfully hosting the 2015 National Carnival Pinegrove is backing up again to stage this year's event on October 29 and 30.
Nominations for Field & Game Australia's premier simulated field event will open in July.
Pinegrove member Steve Koch said the club is looking at several options to expand onto nearby land to allow for a better spread of targets. “We can fit three grounds on our existing area but it does get a little tight,” he said. “It would allow us to throw more good crossing targets, we would be able to present better targets and that is what it's all about.”
Steve said the club unanimously supported a bid for back-to-back Carnivals.
“Everyone is enthusiastic, it was a bit of a surprise to us when it came our way again but running it back-to-back has some virtues
We pretty much still have everything in place and we have the recent knowledge, we know what worked and what we need to tweak.”
