Branches get life-saving equipment
Seven Field & Game Australia branches have new defibrillators being delivered thanks to the latest round of the Victorian Government’s Defibrillators for Sporting Clubs and Facilities Program.
A defibrillator package has been approved under the scheme for
Casterton, Clunes, Bendigo, Moe, Seymour, Sunraysia and Westernport.
A person’s chance of survival decreases 10 per cent every minute without defibrillation after they’ve suffered a cardiac arrest.
Successful applicants receive an Automated External Defibrillator Package, which includes a high-quality defibrillator, some basic training and a minimum of five years of essential maintenance.
