The legendary Lizard Island has been reborn as a luxury escape with a more family-friendly appeal than ever.
We land on the reborn Lizard Island, the most northerly resort on the Great Barrier Reef, having flown over impossibly blue water with its mosaic of jewel-like reefs, islands, coral cays and atolls. Stepping from the plane we’re met by staff member Sophie, wearing a smart navy and white checked shirt and khaki pants.
