Pur­ple loo is truly on the move

THE trav­el­ling toi­let has been on quite the jour­ney around the Fraser Coast pick­ing up more than $2000 along the way.

In a bid to raise funds for Re­lay for Life, the Fraser Coast Chron­i­cle’s team, the Chron­i­cle War­riors, have sent the loo across the town to seven lo­cal busi­nesses.

Since Septem­ber the pur­ple loo dec­o­rated with flow­ers has vis­ited the Bank of Queens­land, Bay­side Phys­io­ther­apy, The Dock Bar and Bistro, Amart All Sports, The Car­ri­ers Arms Ho­tel Mary­bor­ough, Tempt Me Cafe, Ten­pin Bowl­ing and is now back at the Chron­i­cle of­fice.

The toi­let, do­nated by Samios Plumb­ing, will be­gin it’s next jour­ney on Tuesday and the next busi­ness is all too fa­mil­iar with trav­el­ling to des­ti­na­tions. FLUSHED AWAY: The Dock Bar and Bistro own­ers, Mark and Lisa Blyth were thrilled to re­ceive the Chron­i­cle toi­let to raise funds for Re­lay for Life.
