Purple loo is truly on the move
THE travelling toilet has been on quite the journey around the Fraser Coast picking up more than $2000 along the way.
In a bid to raise funds for Relay for Life, the Fraser Coast Chronicle’s team, the Chronicle Warriors, have sent the loo across the town to seven local businesses.
Since September the purple loo decorated with flowers has visited the Bank of Queensland, Bayside Physiotherapy, The Dock Bar and Bistro, Amart All Sports, The Carriers Arms Hotel Maryborough, Tempt Me Cafe, Tenpin Bowling and is now back at the Chronicle office.
The toilet, donated by Samios Plumbing, will begin it’s next journey on Tuesday and the next business is all too familiar with travelling to destinations. FLUSHED AWAY: The Dock Bar and Bistro owners, Mark and Lisa Blyth were thrilled to receive the Chronicle toilet to raise funds for Relay for Life.
