FLORENCE Nightin­gale award win­ner Anne Carey will be in Fre­man­tle this month to talk about her ex­pe­ri­ence treat­ing ebola pa­tients in Sierra Leone.

Ms Carey will dis­cuss how she fought to over­come the dis­ease while work­ing in a Sierra Leone ebola treat­ment cen­tre in the midst of the cri­sis and how that same sort of courage could be ap­plied to other is­sues, such as work­place bul­ly­ing and refugee dis­crim­i­na­tion.

The talk will be held at the Ki­dogo Art­house 6-7pm on July 21.
