Anne Frank story in Freo
EXHIBITION TO FEATURE HER EARLY LIFE, WARTIME ORDEAL
ONE of World War II’s most recognised young names will be in Fremantle as part of a special exhibition.
The Fremantle BID will host the travelling exhibition Let me be Myself: The Life Story of Anne Frank.
It is a collection of works that tells of Frank’s early life and wartime ordeal.
Fremantle BID chairman Karl Bullers said the exhibition was made up of the historical section as well as a contemporary section that delves into the lives of four present day youths and how they deal with prejudice and discrimination.
“We’re very pleased to bring such an important exhibition to Fremantle,” he said.
“The Anne Frank story has continued relevance and important messages that we can all relate to.
“With Fremantle’s significant Jewish heritage the exhibition is a great fit for our City and we look forward to welcoming visitors to Fremantle.”
Let me be Myself: The Life Story of Anne Frank is at the Woolstores shopping centre from September 13 to October 31.
Entry tickets start from $4.70 and are available from www.try booking.com/ 303842.
