BAPTISTCARE offers a variety of support services to enable you to have a happy and full life for a wide variety of personal circumstances.
Baptistcare At Home Services executive general manager Deb Patterson said it is important people are provided with individualised services specific to their unique needs and preferences.
“Our customers can choose from a wide range of support services depending on their particular wellbeing needs and goals including social and community access supports, assistance around the home, and services like personal and clinical care, which enable people to stay active and connected to the community,” Ms Patterson said.
“The options are endless and flexible – as your circumstances change, we’ll ensure your plan adapts to meet your needs.”
Lois Burr has been receiving At Home Services through Baptistcare for the past 15 years and said the support has enabled her to live life the way she wants.
“Through the years I’ve had magic help from them, they’ve absolutely done a great job,” Ms Burr said.
“I have a special connection with them, they’re good and kind to me, people I can rely on.”
Another Baptistcare customer Betty Attwell said being able to stay independent in her own home is an important part of her wellbeing.
She has been a Baptistcare customer for many years since she started receiving assistance at home after a hospital stay.
Betty receives daily personal care and a support worker comes twice a day to help her with showering and dressing.
“Mum is on a high-level home care package and has a high fall risk,” Betty’s son Gary said.
“I’d be lost without them and that’s the truth, they help us 365 days a year.
“We’ve been happy with the quality of service since the very start– the carers and scheduling, they’ve got that all to a tee.”
Specialised residential care and dementia support for older people is available at Baptistcare Gracewood Residential Care in Salter Point and other locations in Perth.
