Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing five sus­pi­cious fires at Perth tat­too par­lours be­tween March and Au­gust 2018, in­clud­ing one that oc­curred at a South Street premises on May 9.

Each of the five fires started dur­ing the early hours of the morn­ing when un­known of­fend­ers set fire to a num­ber of items within the tat­too par­lours.

Sig­nif­i­cant dam­age was caused in each in­ci­dent and po­lice believe they are linked. The other fires were in Bal­divis, Bed­ford, Rock­ing­ham and Me­d­ina.

Po­lice want to speak to any­one who saw sus­pi­cious ac­tiv­ity, peo­ple or ve­hi­cles near these build­ings, or who have dash cam footage around the area, to come for­ward. Re­wards of up to $50,000 are avail­able for in­for­ma­tion which leads to the iden­ti­fi­ca­tion and con­vic­tion of an ar­son­ist.

Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to call Crime Stop­pers. A woman was taken to hos­pi­tal suf­fer­ing se­ri­ous burns af­ter a house fire in Hamil­ton Hill on Tues­day, Septem­ber 4.

Emer­gency ser­vices at­tended the Bit­ton Street ad­dress just af­ter 7pm. The woman, be­lieved to be aged in her 50s, was taken to Fiona Stan­ley Hos­pi­tal. A 47-year-old North Coogee man has been charged with four counts of cor­rup­tion fol­low­ing a joint in­ves­ti­ga­tion be­tween WA Po­lice and the Cor­rup­tion and Crime Com­mis­sion.

The in­ves­ti­ga­tion be­gan in March 2016 and the CCC re­cently re­leased a re­port that stated the man, along with a 43-year-old Sal­ter Point man, al­legedly con­spired to use their po­si­tions at the WA elec­tric­ity provider to send work to a com­pany they con­trolled.

Both men will ap­pear in At 1am on Sun­day, Au­gust 19, a man was walk­ing along South Ter­race while hold­ing a plas­tic cup.

As he passed a set of ta­ble and chairs, he threw the cup and hit a woman in the face. This caused the woman to lose con­scious­ness af­ter she fell back­wards off her chair and hit her head on the ground.

The man then walked away from the area with­out of­fer­ing help.

Po­lice want to speak to the man pic­tured.
