Sculpture by the school

Fremantle Gazette - - NEWS -

ONE of Cottesloe’s popular Sculpture by the Sea exhibits has found a new home at East Hamilton Hill Primary School.

Calf depicts an artist’s inner world and is symbolic of notions about the cycle of life, the search for the right way to begin and end, through fragile shapes and bold colours.

It has been installed in the school’s bush tucker garden as part of its 60th year celebrations and principal Anne Christodulou hoped it would inspire students for years to come.

Artist Peter Lipkovic donated his entry rather than taking his work back to his Slovakian homeland.
