A COOLBELLUP man who used Facebook Marketplace to sell an iPad that was stolen from a school has copped a $1500 fine.
Steven Ryan Buckle, 34, appeared in Fremantle Magistrate’s Court on September 11 and pleaded guilty to receiving.
Magistrate Adam Hills-Wright said Buckle “knew full well” the device was stolen.
The buyer alerted police after noticing the $550 device – which they traded for a smartphone – had identification engravings.
