Future Music - - FILTER -

Nord have lifted the lid on the latest update to their Electro series of performer-focused keyboards. Version six streamlines the on-stage experience further with an improved interface, new Organize Mode, for arranging sounds, and the ability to transition seamlessly between sounds.

The Electro 6 is now three-part multi-timbral too, with advanced Split functionality, (six available split points, plus the Split Point Crossfade added to the company’s recent Stage 3.

The Electro’s organ section has been overhauled too. Here we get two new pipe organ models, along with a Dual Organ Mode for controlling two sounds easily from the front panel. Both the Piano and Synth sections benefit from expanded polyphony too. The Synth section also doubles the sample memory, and the Piano gains new ‘creative filters’.

The Electro 6 will come in three varieties – 61 and 73-key semi-weighted and 73-key hammer action. All are due to arrive this spring, with prices currently still to be confirmed.
