News From Wise­mans Ferry Com­mu­nity Men’s Shed

What will you be do­ing over the long weekend this Easter? Why not pop down to Wise­mans Ferry Bowl­ing Club on Easter Satur­day 26 March and en­joy a day at the mar­kets! The Men’s Shed will be there show­ing their wares, to­gether with many other var­ied stall hold­ers. Some of the items we will have for sale are; chil­dren’s pic­nic ta­bles, mail­boxes, shoe re­movers, planter boxes, plat­ters just to name a few. Don’t miss what the Wise­mans Ferry Mar­kets has to of­fer with food stalls, plant stalls, cloth­ing and cof­fee stalls along with entertainment and dis­plays. It’s a day not to be missed!

Fur­ther to our progress with build­ing our shed, we are gath­er­ing the nec­es­sary en­gi­neer re­ports to sup­port our con­struc­tion cer­tifi­cate and hope­fully by the time this goes to press, it will all be in the hands of coun­cil, await­ing ap­proval. We can’t wait to get this started and there will be lots of hard work ahead of us. There­fore with our eyes on the fin­ish line and the con­tin­ued sup­port of our com­mu­nity, we look for­ward to soon hav­ing our Men’s Shed oper­at­ing in the hub of Wise­mans Ferry, with ac­cess to those val­ued mem­bers look­ing for ca­ma­raderie and the shar­ing of their skills.
