Term 1 at Hillside and already so many things planned and happening!

2016 is shaping up to be a year full of learning and fun.

Teachers welcomed students back and were very happy to see new faces, both in Kinder and other years.

The Kindergarten children have settled in and are loving every minute of their busy days at school.

Last week saw our Year 6 leaders enjoy three days of Leadership Camp at Vision Valley. There they learnt many things about good leadership as well as hearing interesting speakers and participating in great activities with new friends.

Our swimming carnival will be held on 12th February and all our students are looking forward to competing with Middle Dural and Annangrove Public Schools.

Our PBEL focus for this fortnight is how to be a Responsible, Respectful Learner before school. The students have been involved in role plays that demonstrate the qualities needed. Next week the focus is Responsible, Respectful Learners in the playground.

The vegetable garden has already been harvested with all students taking home big bunches of delicious spinach. Thank you Lucas and Blake for cutting, banding and distributing the spinach.

Looking forward to a wonderful 2016.
