Galston Christian Education Association

Galston, Glenorie and Hills Rural News - - My Council -

Greetings readers!

Firstly, I do hope that all of the new students at Galston high school are settling in well – welcome!

The Galston Christian Education Association has been engaged in the provision of Christian Education to the Student of Galston High School since 1982. We are an Ecumenical activity supported by most of the Churches in our community. We do not receive any government funding, but are fully resourced by our local churches as well as by generous members of our community.

We seek to be a positive contributor to the life of Galston high school and enjoy our interactions with all students – whatever their background and faith perspective.

Our teacher, Lachlan Gage, is a local lad and has been working for us for a number of years. He’s a terrific and engaging person with a great passion for our community. We appreciate the support he receives from the school community as he makes his contribution to school life.

We will be reporting on some of our activities in this great newspaper as we are able.

Until next time, Geoff (Rev Geoff Smith, Chairperson, GCEA)
