The Gal­ston Con­certs con­tinue with a Mozart & Vi­enna minifes­ti­val weekend 7 & 8 May.

En­sem­ble I from Vi­enna will bring Mozart to the Hills af­ter their Clas­sic Con­certs Cruise on the Dawn Princess.

Satur­day 7 May of­fers Mozart, Duos & Dances with pi­ano duets by Mozart, Beethoven and Schu­bert plus cameo con­trasts in­clud­ing vi­o­lin and cello from Paris, Prague, Madrid & a Buenos Aires tango.

Sun­day 8 May of­fers Mozart & the Trout with larger en­sem­bles per­form­ing Mozart’s Fi­garo Overt­ture, Eine Kleine and the beloved Trout Quin­tet by Schu­bert plus Strauss waltzes and polkas in the Vi­enna tra­di­tion.

Each pro­gram will also fea­ture a ‘Ris­ing Star’ per­form­ing as a pre­lude to Gal­ston Con­certs’ Young Artist Awards planned for 2017.

Both con­certs start at 3 pm in Gal­ston Unit­ing Church, 11 School Road, Gal­ston.

Tick­ets will also be avail­able at the Church be­fore each con­cert.
