Sydney, April 18th, 2016 - Galston Public School has announced plans to host a fundraising comedy night for the school, to be held at the Galston Club on Saturday the 18th of June this year. The night will feature professional acts from four well-known Australian comedians, with all proceeds going to the school to buy new books, updated technology and other educational resources.

The school has a very committed and active Parents and Citizens Association, who take a keen interest in fundraising initiatives as a way to enhance education at the school.

Spokesperson for the Fundraising Committee, Tanya Koorey, said: “We all want our kids to grow up and learn in the best possible environment. We are doing whatever we can to help the school provide the best resources for our kids’ future.”

This is the first time Galston Public School has attempted a comedy night as the school’s main social fundraiser, and the committee is very keen to see it become a success.

“We have got a fantastic line-up of comedians, and we are in a local and friendly venue with great, reasonably-priced food
